Whistling Frog Cafe

It seems a few kangaroos have been hopping across the ditch to spend some quality time in the Catlins and one such 'Roo was raving re the tasty tucker tempting tastebuds at the table. The Frog was chatting with Ozzie Steve the other night - he and his family had the Vegetarian Thyme Pancake, Beef Quesadilla, Rib-Eye Steak, and Gnocchi with lamb ragout.  His wife had the gnocchi and said it was to just what she had been waiting for..  Some real lamb and the fluffiest gnocchi she had ever tasted.

His comments in writing were:  "The best meal in all of New Zealand and great surrounds....I'll see you for breakfast.."

He and his family are travelling around NZ in a campervan and having the time of their lives ...
